Culture Map

The patterns of culture are often:

We use our Culture Map  tool to tangibly visualize these patterns in order to initiate and control culture development.

Culture Map™ is a navigation tool – for any culture. It displays the patterns of a culture with seven colors. Each color represents a cluster for certain values.

The Culture Map  technique has been used in very different organizations around the world. Our
customers value the practical applicability and logic of the model. Following Einstein’s advice, it displays culture as simple as possible, but not any simpler: It clearly shows the pattern of a culture, but still considers the complexity and dynamics within.

The Culture Map is part of our Culturescope solutions. It is a registered trademark of The Culture Institute AG. The approach was initially created by Simon Sagmeister at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. Based on the science of memetics, the approach combines actual business realities and management challenges with the work of renowned thinkers like Frédéric Laloux, Clare Graves, Don Beck, Christopher Cowan, Richard Dawkins, Robert Wright, Ken Wilber, and Edgar Schein.
