Culture Map

The patterns of culture are often:

  • nebulous
  • difficult to describe
  • hard to interpret
  • and therefore almost impossible to manage.

We use our Culture Map tool to tangibly visualize these patterns in order to initiate and control culture development.

With Culture Maps culture becomes concrete:

  • visible
  • discussable
  • approachable
  • and manageable

The Culture Map approach was initially created by Simon Sagmeister at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. Today, the method is used in very different organizations around the world. Our customers value the practical applicability and logic of the model.

The Culture Map Book Business Culture Design was published in 2016 in German. An English edition is on the way!

The Culture Map is a registered trademark of The Culture Institute AG. Official licensees of Culture Map are Science House in New York and Julius Blum GmbH.
